Amb el nou any 2016 hem iniciat un nou projecte, finançat parcialment per la darrera convocatòria de la FECyT, anomenat “Ciència oberta per a una ciutadania científica: xarxes flexibles i campus presencials per a joves i grans” (#magscicacc). Es tracta de la continuació del projecte que la mateixa FECyT ens va finançar per a 2015, i forma part de la nostra iniciativa global “La Màgia de la Ciència” que estem impulsant amb en Fernando Blasco (@fblascoxyz), de la Universitat Politècnica de Madrid.
El resum del projecte, en anglès, és aquest:
This project showcases the buildup of a scientific, creative citizenship by means of open science (online), scientific volunteering,
and flexible assotiationism. Two means are providing us currently with reputation and allow us to be successful – they will be used
as catalysts: the Internet (Science 2.0) and Magic. This project continues the positive, continued collaboration between Fernando
Blasco’s Group (Univ Polit Madrid) and that of main reseracher Miquel Duran (Univ Girona). Besides the necessary coordination
and communication task, five tasks are proposed: by means of (a) the Science Disseminators School we propose to leverage the
formation of unviersity students in dissemination and creativity, while with (b) the transgenerational science club is a tool for
preuniversity students and senior citizens. The latter are the actual prescriptors of youngsters in this first part of the XXIth
Century. Furthermore, task (c), the junior campus on magic and science, continues the successful project financed by FECyT
currently in execution, which will reach Science on Stage in London very soon, and which brings about a nonformal, concentrated
education for talented youth interested in the subject. Finally, tasks (d) and (e) use gamification (games and contests) and the
Internet (Open Science and Science 2.0) as elements in themselves and as tools for the first two tasks, having a innovative, pilot
character. This project combines thus the buildup of networks and contacts, with the creation of materials and use of the Net.
Entre d’altres activitats, en el marc d’aquest projecte tenim previst aquestes accions concretes:
- Crear una escola de joves divulgadors universitaris
- Vertebrar un club de ciència intergeneracional
- Organitzar un campus júnior de ciència i màgia, a finals de juny.
- Crear jocs i muntar concursos de ciència a Internet
- Continuar la nostra activitat en ciència oberta: OERs, MOOCs, Ciència 2.0
Per part del nostre grup, a la Càtedra de Cultura Científica i Comunciació Digital, l’equip impulsor del projecte està format per la Sílvia Simon (@silviasimonr), en Pep Duran (@pepduran) i jo mateix (@mqiuelduran), juntament amb la Mireia Güell (@mireiaguell) i nous estudiants col.laboradors i col.laboradors externs (com la Laia i en Pep Anton, actualment professors de secundària). Per part de la UPM, en Fernando Blasco (@fblascoxyz) és l’impulsor del projecte, i hi col.laboraran altres investigadors i estudiants.
Aquest projecte estarà trabat amb d’altres iniciatives finançades, per exemple “La Màgia de l’Alimentació“, que va rebre la Beca Educar Menjant de la Fundació Jaume Casademont.
